In the
10 years that OSA has been presenting
hands-on orchid repotting programs for schools
throughout Arizona, January, 2005 marks the
first time
that a garden club that is also affiliated with the
Arizona Federation of Garden Clubs has worked
side-by-side with OSA’s school program team.
In the Phoenix Metro
area, schools that have benefited from our free hands-on
programs, have been appreciative. However, schools
outside of the Phoenix Metro area are often excluded
from special opportunities. When OSA ventures into
outlying areas of the state, the gratitude expressed by
teachers and students makes us realize that our efforts
are especially rewarding to teachers, students, AND our
